Our Trikes are fitted with seatbelts and it is the responsibility of the passengers to secure them at all times. Failure to do so will result in the ride being terminated immediately with no refund or credit given.
Passengers must keep arms and legs within the confines of the Trike at all times.
The driver is authorised to stop the Trike and ask any passengers to get off, if in their opinion they act contrary to our conditions of their booking in any way. The passengers must not interfere with, encourage or harass the driver into breaking the law or any of these conditions.
Thunder Trike Tours hold no responsibility for delays caused by unexpected circumstances beyond our control such as weather or traffic delays.
The driver will use his judgment to drive at reasonable speeds in relation to the prevailing road, traffic and weather conditions. Our vehicles are insured for our drivers only. No other person may drive the vehicles under any circumstances.
The customer agrees that Thunder Trike Tours are free to use images of customers for advertising and marketing purposes unless requested otherwise.
Thunder Trike Tours reserves the right to decline taking passengers who are too intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. This will be at the driver’s discretion and no refund or credit will be given.
Disclosure
The passenger voluntarily accepts all risks of personal injury and/or property damage arising from participation on the ride.
On occasions, stone chips from the road and/or insects may hit the passenger – causing slight discomfort.
In New Zealand all travelers are covered under our A.C.C in the event of an accident, however it is recommended you have Travel Insurance.
Cancellations
We run a 24 hour cancellation policy for a 100% refund. NO refunds for bookings cancelled within 24 hours of departure time, last minute cancellations or no shows.
Thunder Trikes is a weather dependent activity so in the case that we need to cancel due to bad weather, we will reschedule your booking or issue a full refund if rescheduling is not possible, or we can issue a Gift Voucher for use another time.
CANCELLATION NOTES:
Customers will receive a full refund or credit within 3-5 days if cancelled in the required time frame.
Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
